This is so easy yet so delicious Simply put a little water in the bottom of your crockpot, add your leg of lamb and any spices you like (my family prefer without), switch on for about 6 - 8 hours then enjoy melt in the mouth meat. I accompany the meat with traditional roast potatoes and veg! Said it was easy ;D

Easy is good! Are there any spices you can suggest that go well with leg of lamb? I was never a lamb eater until we lived in Australia. I started to buy lambchops and they were soooo good! I don't remember if I added any spices to them or not. I'll definitely give this a try. Love to utilize the slow cooker!

I absolutely love lamb, and never thought to cook a leg of lamb in the crockpot. I will definitely be trying this one.

Oregano and garlic are good with lamb and obviously the classic sauce to serve the lamb with is mint I use the meat like I would if it was roasted in the oven, it's much nicer though

I am making this today and will let you all know how it turns out. I had to buy butterflied leg of lamb and I added sea salt with a pepper garlic spice mix.
