~ Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts ~
* Many of my recipes were originally posted on my blog and written more for entertainment than as a basic recipe. I have tried to edit them to make it easier to follow.
First, prepare your sprouts by peeling off their outer layer, cutting off the stem, and splitting in half lengthwise. In a skillet with a lid, saute some onions and garlic in olive oil until tender. Then toss in the sprouts.
After letting them marry with the onions and garlic for a few moments, add a bit of balsamic vinaigrette, a dash or two of wine, and chicken stock. Place the lid on the skillet and cook until the sprouts become tender.
Place the spourts in a baking dish and drizzle with maple syrup. A quick toss with some salt and pepper and they are ready to roast in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes.

Must try, but I'll be making it for one. No one, not even in my extended family, can tolerate my lust for Brussels sprouts! lol!
