Pineapple Chicken
6 chicken breasts 1/2 cup butter or margarine melted 1 large onion sliced 1 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup flour 1 6 oz can pineapple juice 1 can crushed pineapple 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon garlic salt 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 4 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
Place chicken in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened, stirring frequently. Pour the pineapple mixture evenly over the chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 300 for about an hour, or until chicken is done hours. Yield: 6 servings
You also can pour mixture over chicken, cover and refridgerate if you want to cook the next day.

I love pineapple! I wonder if you could do this in the crockpot?

Mmmm! This ones' a keeper! Seems like it would be crockpot-able. Maybe have to allow for some sauce getting more loose?
Reason why I am fat: the first thing I thought about was garnishing with crumbled bacon, lol!
I can see scallions, maybe some macadamias?

I have never tried it in the crockpot, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. And Jean, my DH adds bacon to his plate!
