KAHLUA PECAN BRIE
1 15 oz. Brie 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted. 2 Tbsp Kahlua 1½ to 2 Tbsp brown sugar
Freeze Brie for 15 to 20 minute for ease of removing rind. Place in pie plate. Spread above combined mixture over cheese. Warm in 350 degree oven for 3 to 5 minutes, watching constantly. Different bries melt more quickly than others. Brie should be warmed but not so much as to lose its round or pie shaped form.
Serve with thin slices of apple or Carr’s crackers. Apples slices should be dipped in pineapple juice to prevent browning and can be prepared a couple hours before serving and stored in a Ziploc bag in the refrigerator.
