Tiramisu
2 egg yolks 2 egg whites 3 tbs sugar 2 containers (200 – 250g each container) Mascarpone Cocoa Coffee Cointreau Lady fingers
1. In a pan, line one layer of lady fingers. 2. Moisten with coffee and cointreau 3. Blend egg yolk, sugar and mascarpone. Add whipped egg whites to the mixture. 4. Pour half of mixture on top of lady fingers, 5. Line another layer of lady fingers and moisten with coffee and cointreau. 6. Pour remainder of mixture on top and sprinkle with cocoa. 7. Cover and chill for several hours.
** instead of using 2 containers of mascarpone, 1 container (200cc) of whipped fresh cream can be used as a substitute. Makes a creamier tiramisu.
