~ Short Ribs ~
2 tbsp. olive oil 8 short ribs salt and pepper 1 large onion, chopped 1 bag of baby carrots 1 cup celery, chopped 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced 1 1/2 tsp. season salt 1 cup red wine 1 can beef stock
Brown the short ribs in the olive oil after seasoning with salt and pepper. Place the onions, carrots, celery, and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle the season salt over the veggies and pour in the wine and stock. Place the short ribs on top of the vegetables. Cover and cook on low for several hours.
